1. The 7-day free trial
- Available on Pro Monthly and Pro Annual.
- One trial per user, per lifetime.
- We require a valid card to verify identity, but we do not charge anything until day 8.
- We email you 2 days before the trial ends so you can decide whether to continue.
- Cancel anytime in settings — your card is never charged.
2. Pro Monthly refunds
If you are charged for Pro Monthly and decide it is not for you, email us within 3 days of the charge. If you have not substantially used Pro features (we look at things like: have you started a mock exam, sent more than 5 AI-tutor messages, downloaded a study export), we will issue a prorated refund for the unused portion of the month.
After 3 days, we will not refund the current month, but you can cancel future renewals at any time and keep access until the end of the paid month.
3. Pro Annual & 2-Year Pass refunds
Within 14 days of purchase, you can request a full refund for any reason. Just email support@cbleace.com from the email on your account. We will not ask you why, we will not try to talk you out of it, and we will not impose “restocking fees.”
After 14 days, we will consider partial refunds case-by-case if your circumstances changed (lost job, illness, etc.). We have generally been generous about this — please just write to us.
4. Special situations
If we have a major outage
If CBLE Ace is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to our fault, we will automatically credit your account or extend your subscription by twice the downtime — no need to email us.
If you cannot take the exam (CBP cancels, illness, etc.)
Email us. We will typically pause your subscription or extend it to cover the next exam cycle, free of charge. Our subscription is for studying, and we want it to be useful.
If we change pricing or features
If we materially reduce a feature you paid for, you can request a prorated refund for the remaining time. We commit to giving you 30 days notice on any material change.
Suspected account abuse
If we suspend your account for violating our Terms of Service (e.g., scraping, account sharing, payment fraud), refunds are at our discretion. For minor first-time violations, we will warn before suspending.
5. How to request a refund
- Email support@cbleace.com from the email associated with your account.
- Include your order ID or the last 4 digits of the card used (Stripe sends this in your receipt). A reason is appreciated but never required for in-window refunds.
- We will confirm receipt within 1 business day and process the refund within 5 business days. Funds typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
6. Refund method
Refunds go back to the original payment method. We cannot redirect refunds to a different card or bank account. If your original card is closed, contact your bank — they typically auto-route refunds to the replacement card.
7. Currency & fees
All refunds are issued in USD, the original transaction currency. We absorb any Stripe processing fees on refunds — you receive the full amount you paid. Foreign-exchange fluctuations between purchase and refund are not reimbursed.
8. Chargebacks
Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. Chargebacks are slow, costly for both sides, and often miss context we could have explained in 5 minutes via email. We have refunded almost everyone who has politely asked — give us a chance to fix it first.
